A Little About
Me...
back
I grew up in Yankton, SD with my parents and two sisters. After
high school, I went to South Dakota State University for two years and
then transferred to the University of South Dakota to get my Elementary
Education degree.
My teaching career has brought me to several different areas of the
state. My first teaching job was in Rapid City as an afternoon
kindergarten teacher. Wanting to be closer to my family and
friends, I moved back to eastern South Dakota and spent the next two
years in Arlington as a 6th grade teacher. Then, after my wedding
last summer, I joined my husband in Mobridge and taught 2nd grade in
McLaughlin. My husband and I have always loved the Watertown area
and are both very delighted to be here. I am also extremely happy
to be teaching 3rd graders! 3rd grade is such a fun and exciting
year!
My
husband Aaron and I were married July 20, 2007 and we just bought our
first home in Watertown, which we share with our cat Mooshka. In
my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking
and baking, scrapbooking, and reading.
